Counselling

At Mindful Connexions, we run a caring and compassionate counselling in Melbourne.  Our trained counsellor, Josie, will provide you with support to improve your emotional and mental wellbeing and help you discover insights and personal strengths so you can use them to cope with life easier, give you new life coping skills so you can gently ride the ups and downs and work towards a more peaceful life.

Sometimes you may feel there is nobody to talk to, but Josie will provide a supportive environment where she will listen without judgement and provide professional guidance.  Josie will use her therapeutic questioning skills to help you draw out your story so together you can repair the narrative you live by.

She will provide you with a supportive environment where you can safely challenge your thoughts and behaviour, decide on new choices that will enhance your life and take action so you are on your way to a new path.

As a duty of care to her clients, Josie receives supervision on a regular basis to ensure that the therapeutic service she provides is in the best interest of her clients and of the highest standard.

What Counselling can do for You

Our day to day life is made up of a series of conversations where we are expected to wear many hats and cope with life changes.  Sometimes life can seem overwhelming, but counselling can give us a chance to look at ourselves on a deeper level.  It can also give us the chance to question our path, the role we play, our narrative we live by and if we have really discovered our true identity.

Counselling can help you think differently so you can cope with life better, give you new life coping skills so you can ride the ups and downs easier and increase your confidence.   It can also give you the chance to talk about your feelings and issues in a safe, caring, understanding and non-judgemental environment.

Our counselling service provides a growth promoting environment with an accepting, warm and genuine attitude.
