Improve your Wellbeing & Social Skills

For ages 9 and over


Social skills is a learned behaviour and goal orientated.  It is measured by how you treat others and how you react to them.  Through our Social Skills sessions will teach you new social skills through effective therapeutic tools and non-judgmental support.

 

The sessions will help improve your social skills and confidence so your anxiety, feelings of depression, conflicting issues with the self and feeling unloved will be released and resolved. 

 

It will help improve your emotional wellbeing so you can make positive lifestyle changes and improve your overall health and  relationships you have with yourself and others including your parenting style.

 
The first session will be the Social Skills Assessment Phase to ensure the sessions will meet your individual need in the shortest time possible with the best results.
 

During the Social Skills assessment phase we ask clients if they want to improve their social skills at work, home or leisure (or all).  We also evaluate strengths and weakness to develop sessions that provides individual care.  
 
Individuals who benefit from these sessions include symptoms such as:
  • A lack of clear thought
  • A fear to grow-up and become responsible, including sabotaging opportunities that will help you grow
  • Difficulty acknowledging and connecting with your own feelings
  • Using passive, aggressiveness or passive aggressive communication styles as a coping mechanism during/after conflict
  • Feeling confused and have trouble making choices that is good for you
  • Emotionally withdrawing from your environment
  • Depression, moodiness and difficulty managing your emotions
  • Are anxious around other people
  • Has difficultly making friends
  • Are bullied by other people

The Social Skills sessions are designed to improve your ability to relate to others and includes

  • Ability to manage emotions

  • Positive self talk
  • Understanding the unconscious and past and how it is affecting the here and now
  • Changing your script
